Hey friends, today I want to share with you two poems that I plan to add in my next poetry collection. I am currently at the process of ordering the poems. Once everything is put together it will become my first draft manuscript. When it comes to deciding on poems, I think about if it flows with what I am trying to say. With this next collection, I want to focus on everyday life. Which means, I will be sharing a lot about my struggles, because growing up has been more challenging than I expected. 

One of the poems I am showing you is about having a dream, and going through the transition to follow after it. While the other poem is about feeling stuck and wanting to quit.

When I self-published my poetry book Needy: My Break Up Song, I became an Author. In March 2022, I achieved one of my childhood dreams. I put together a poetry collection, and I released it out into the world (even though it was terrifying). Now, I am confident I can do it again. I know, I can do it better. I have always wanted to share my stories in the form of a book. I have many ideas in my mind, and I am determined now to turn those into books. I am walking down on Author Road.
