Hey friends welcome to Gem Time. Today, I show you what I got up to on my recent day off. If Iโm honest, I have never been so busy, and there is still so much to do. However, after getting sick again, it became clear that it was time to pause. So on my reset day, I did a low maintenance self-care routine, I booked a trip I have been dying to go on, and I spent some time meditating.
Instead of doing full days at work, only going in for a couple hours in the morning is so much better for me.
My room is usually clean, but sometimes things like laundry needs to get done
I am trying to get back into doing my nails every week again. When I am busy I neglect them. However, it is a good way to force myself to pause. I literally have to focus on them and I canโt move too much when they need to dry.
Doing my skincare routine keeps me sane and looking after myself in this way is nice. Plus I feel confident after.
One thing that I really wanted to do this year is travel. I miss being that adventurous girl, and I am so excited to have her back again. I booked a trip because I need a break, and to get inspiration.
I want to do a video about personal finance soon, as I think that is an important topic. Share what I have been learning over the years. The script about getting a good credit score and how to use credit cards is ready.
Meditation is such a good way to hit reset at any point in the day.
I usually plan my day in the morning or the day before, to prevent myself thinking too far ahead and worrying.
