Hello everyone, welcome to today’s skincare video. In this routine I will be showing you my Current K-Beauty Night Time Routine. My skin has been going through a tough season, I’ve been struggling with my mental health, and that has affected my skin. My skin has been more dry, dull and sensitive. In March, I got an eye infection from stress; this meant I had to be on medication for about a week and it also meant that I was being extra careful about the products I was using, only reaching for the most gentle and non irritating products. So, because of this testing new products has been a slow process, however I finally have two new additions that I’ve gotten comfortable with.

I will be showing you a updated night routine and the products I am highlighting are: 

SOME BY MI Pure Vitamin C V10 Cleansing Bar

SOME BY MI AHA, BHA, PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream

Cleanser checklist: Cleans effectively, Clears pores & Low pH

I start with the SOME BY MI Pure Vitamin C V10 Cleansing Bar

Having a good cleanser is so important, especially when your skin is feeling dull this can be a key to helping it come back alive. Normally, I don’t consider bar soaps, I know the formulas are getting better; however I was still worried that it might dry me out. But honestly I have not had a problem this Vitamin and I use it regularly.

The SOME BY MI Vitamin C Bar contains highly concentrated (15,000 ppm) pure Vitamin C and 10 types of multi-vitamins. It is hypoallergenic, it doesn’t irritate the skin and it does a good job of gently cleansing removing skin impurities. You need to lather up the soap and apply it to wet face; the foam moves easily so you can massage your face.

The Pure Vitamin C soothes stressed-out skin from external stimuli, it fights against free radicals that causes ageing and pigmentation. It restores and transforms skin to a healthy, radiant complexion by boosting the skin’s collagen production, fading pigmentation and brown spots.

In terms of the 3 three benefits this cleanser is designed for, Brightening, Smoothing and Moisturising. Personally I felt the effectiveness of the first two, but I didn’t really notice any added moisture. However, it does contain several vegetable oils and glycerin, so it at least prevents the striped feeling. 

I found out after you are meant to break the bar into two, so it can be preserved for longer and I was like oops.

Toner checklist: Creates the environment that will maximise skincare

Next I go in with my I’m from Rice Toner

For me I think having a toner as part of my routine is essential, it always provides an extra layer of hydration and added benefits.

The I’m From Rice Toner is made with 77.78% Rice Extract designed to hydrate and brighten dull, irritated skin and is effective in elasticity care. Created with ground Yeoju rice from South Korea, it is a high quality plant-based star ingredient. This toner helps to get rid of impurities located deep in the skin, and exfoliates the complexion eliminating dead skin cells for smoother, hydrated skin. The Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extractis rich in Vitamin E and B, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids; helpful in brightening a dull complexion. This toner contains Adenosine a cell-signalling ingredient that works as an anti-inflammatory and barrier repair/protection agent, It may also help with skin firmness and elasticity. The toner forms a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss, effective for dull, fatigued skin, as well as dry, irritated skin.

The texture is so light and runny but packs a punch, effectively moisturising and prepares the skin for the next steps in the routine. The I’m From Toner gives me a bright and a heathy glow.

Serum 

After that I begin the first part of my Miracle combo, using the SOME BY MI – AHA, BHA, PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum 

Shake the bottle and squeeze the liquid into your hands to have more control and for even application.

Infused with tea tree leaf water to control excess sebum production and 14.5% Centella extract which is anti-inflammatory, designed to soothe and moisturise while minimising the appearance of pores. There is AHA to slough off dead skin cells, BHA to remove excess sebum, and PHA to retain skin’s moisture; a good balance to exfoliate without irritating the skin. 

The SOME BY MI serum helps to promote skin renewal, increase collagen production, and ease inflammation. This serum has a watery texture and melts into my skin effortlessly, it smooths and soothes troubled areas. It is lightweight and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. I like using it because it makes my skin looks and feel like butter. Literally immediately after, I have a healthy glow. The product provides gentle exfoliation, and hydration so it’s a good balance for me; especially when my skin is going through a tough time.

Moisturiser checklist: Lightweight, Not greasy & Long lasting

To finish, I go in with the SOME BY MI – AHA, BHA, PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream

So, because I like the serum so much to maximise results I decided to do a get the cream part of the Miracle set. Similar to the serum, the SOME BY MI Cream is formulated Centella Asiatica, Tea Tree Leaf, AHA, BHA, and PHA. 

The 4 Cica-Care which are components of Centella in the cream has a high concentration of 70.78% making it extremely soothing and healing. Centella is an anti-inflammatory and a rich source of antioxidants, which help to protect the skin from stress and damage. It acts quickly to calm and repair, irritated troubled skin, dealing with stubborn blemishes, redness and inflammation. And improves skin elasticity, firmness, and hydration.

This cream contains 1% Tea Tree extract, which is good for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is an excellent choice for those with acne-prone skin, as it helps to clear away bacteria that can cause breakouts for improved skin clarity.

There are more amazing ingredients inside this product that makes it super choice to get, such as the glycerin that helps to hydrate and soften, niacinamide which brightens skin and aloe vera good for skin irritations.

The SOME BY MI Cream has a pale green lightweight gel-cream texture and a light minty tea tree scent. It feels cool and absorbing fast and forms a protective layer that’s non-greasy, ideal for oily and sensitive skin. In terms of long lasting, it does well and when I use it at night I can wake up the next day still hydrated, so good for combination and dry skin.
